ROB CALLS BULLSHIT ON DAN SCHWARTZ ABOUT NEW STATE INCOME TAX

I recently attended a meeting with a group of business people where Nevada Treasurer Dan Schwartz spoke. There were rumors that he supported a State Business Income tax to replace the disastrous commerce tax. So one person in the group ask Schwartz if he supported a state income tax. Well Dan Schwartz looked us all in the eyes and lied through his teeth. He said “No I do not suport a State income tax.” But then he went on to explain how states like Washington and California who have high state income taxes have a far better economy than Nevada and we should “Study the issue”. I usually don’t tell my audience about private conversations with politicians I have, but I feel obligated to call Mr. Schwartz, a government offical, out for lying to the my fellow citizens. He told me point blank at lunch last year after the general election, that yes he fully supported replacing the Governor’s commerce tax with an state income tax. So when Schwartz told the group the opposite he lied right to our faces. Schwartz is openly considering running for governor of Nevada. A few years ago we fell for the same kind of lies from Govenor Sandoval and the RINO Republicans who swore to us they would never support any tax increases, but then once in power they broke their promise and screw all of us. So I’m calling Bullshit on Dan Schwartz for lying about his support for a new state income tax. So if you want a new state income vote for Dan Schwartz. But don’t say I didn’t warn you.
