NV SOS SCREWED UP MAIL-IN -BALLOTS

Oct. 10, 2024

The Nevada Secretary of State, Francisco Aguilar, screwed up the party affiliation of a candidate in the general election in Congressional District 2. Congressman Mark Amodei is running unopposed by Democrats this year. CD 2 is one of the most Republican districts in the country.

So Aguilar’s error was quit shocking. His office listed Lynn Chapman, the Independent American Party candidate, as a Democrat. Ballotpedia got it right. But our government officials, whose sole task is to print ballots correctly, failed this simple task.

But wait, it gets worse. Aguilar refused to issue a statement correcting the error. The official Nevada Secretary of State has failed to issue a press release about the error. But his office did take the time to issue a press release about his efforts to help people vote who don’t speak a word of English.

Amodei’s district office told 360 News the SOS is mailing out new ballots with the corrections. But don’t worry, Amodei beat the Democratic Candidate in 2022 with almost 60% of the vote. There’s zero chance Chapman wins the election.
