Lombardo Set To Give First State of the State Address Tonight

Tonight at 6 p.m. in Carson City, Governor Lombardo will lay out his agenda for his first legislative session, which starts next week.

Gov. Lombardo is expected to address education-school choice, public safety; and, of course, jobs, jobs, and jobs. Lombardo will focus on economic diversity and cutting regulations.

Last week at the Nevada State Capitol, Governor Lombardo signed an Executive Order ending all of Sisolak’s COVID EOs and ending all of Sisolak’s vaccine mandates. This week, Governor Lombardo signed two new executive orders freezing all of Sisolak’s new regulations and licensing processes in Nevada.

Last month, Nevada literally ranked 51st with the highest unemployment in the nation. Sisolak also left us last in education and almost last with our crime rate.

In addition, the Governor has ordered every department to review all its regulations with industry stakeholders and report back with regulations that can be removed or streamlined.
