Trump’s arrival, Republican Nominee for Attorney General, Sigal Chattah, blasted corrupt Nevada politicians in a fiery speech. Sigal told the audience that NV AG Aaron Ford is a convicted criminal who couldn’t qualify to be a cop in Nevada yet was elected as Nevada’s top cop. Sigal spoke in Douglas County, the seat of Commissioner Danny Tarkanian and his wife Amy, Republicans who endorsed her opponent, Democrat Aaron Ford, before the Douglas Republican Party expelled them. Sigal laid siege to the Nevada political landscape, threatening to go after Gov. Sisolak over his CV Testing North Shore scandal. “I promise you, all those corrupt public officials, I’m coming for them.” “We will investigate and indict every corrupt public officeholder in the state.” “Those teachers’ unions, I’m coming for those union bosses too, $50 million missing out of the teachers’ health trust.” “Whoever is running DETR (the state unemployment fund), half a billion dollars missing from our state, we’re going to investigate and indict.” “I’m going to impanel so many grand juries in Nevada, it will make Merrick Garland blush.” “When you want a new crop, you burn and scorch the old crop.” Sigal mentioned fighting Sisolak and winning in court over the church closings. On December 15, 2020, the 9th Circuit of Appeals ruled in favor of the Las Vegas-based Calvary Chapel Lone Mountain Church, against Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak’s unconstitutional CV19 church ban. Las Vegas lawyer, Sigal Chattah, represented Calvary Chapel Lone Mountain before the 9th Circuit of Appeal. Sisolak targeted churches and other religious institutions, limiting them to 50 people no matter how large their building’s fire code allowed. But Sisolak allowed casinos to have up to 25% occupancy. Calvary Chapel Lone Mountain Church requested that the court treat their 700-person capacity in the same manner as casinos and other Nevada businesses. Polls have Sigal 2 points ahead, along with most of the Republican field. Watch her speech in its entirety here.
