F-18 FIGHTER JET CRASHED IN NEVADA

A US naval fighter crashed today at around 10 am near the Naval Air Station Fallon about 50 mile north of Carson City. The pilot ejected and was taken to Banner Churchill Regional Medical Center. There is no information regarding his condition is currently available yet.

According to a Navy statement, the pilot was returning to the base following a routine training flight at the time of the crash. The cause of the accident was under investigation.
