No, in Nevada they cannot ask, by law, to see your government issued ID to verify your identity. Democrats like Harry Reid have accused Republicans of racism because they want to require everyone to show their IDs when they vote. But NEWSMAXTV LAS VEGAS recently visited Harry Reid’s office at the Federal Courthouse Building here on Las Vegas blvd to ask him about voter ID laws and what we learned will shock you. No one is allowed to get into the federal courthouse, a public building, without showing a government issued picture ID. Yep you heard that right. The armed security at the front doors to the courthouse demanded to see our ID’s before allowing us to enter. We asked Senator Reid’s office if requiring an ID to go into Harry Reid’s office was racist and they said it’s for security purposes. Republicans said in response protecting the security of our election is at least as important as protecting Harry Reid’s security, isn’t it?
