Clark County School Board Trustee President Linda Cavazos’ financial disclosure form claims she’s a practicing Marriage and Family Therapist. A quick online search shows she has a practice called Cavazos Counseling.

Cavazos describes her practice as “Marriage and family therapists diagnose and treat mental and emotional issues and concerns within marriages, couples and families.” 

This is the same person yelling at constituents to shut up and sit down in recent board meetings, threatening to end public comments if people clap and blatantly ignoring Parents and School staff’s concerns over mask and vaccine mandates.

Last Wednesday, some 200 people spoke against vaccine mandates at a meeting that ended close to 1 am. Over 1,000 people showed up, including school teachers, parents and employees; all opposing vaccine mandates. They gave emotional testimony for hours. They shared their personal health challenges and their deeply held feelings about the vaccine, but School Trustee and Family Therapist, Linda Cavazos, coldly and callously ignored them and proceeded to vote for the vaccine mandate.

Linda’s political radicalism has sparked a movement called Parents First which is now organizing a recall of Linda Cavazos and her cohorts who ignored thousands of people and voted arrogantly for the vaccine mandate. A mandate that affects some 54,000 Clark County Public School employees.

Parents First is looking for volunteers and for folks who want to run for Clark County School Board.
