Nevada Right to Life Scorches Sisolak,Pro-Abortion Catholic

Devoted Catholic and Nevada Governor, Steve Sisolak, signed an executive order barring the state from cooperating with other Pro life states who seek to enforce their laws. Following last week’s Roe v. Wade Supreme Court ruling, many states having trigger laws officially outlawed abortion. Our neighbor, Utah, has such a trigger law that went into effect last week. Texas outlawed abortion when there is a heart beat detected. Reno Planned Parenthood wants Nevada to become a hub for women to fly into have an abortion to avoid their local state laws. So Reno Planned Parenthood is building a industrial sized abortion facility next to the Reno airport including building a hotel. Local Pro Life supports nicked named it the Abortion Death Star.

In 2021 Gov. Steve Sisolak signed a bill passed by exclusively by Democrat law makers that protect sex traffickers, literally. The law, SB179, repeals the requirements of a physician to certify in writing that the patient gave their consent freely without coercion and age verification and shields witnesses from testifying about these nearly state-sanctioned, dangerous black-market abortions.

Melissa Clement, Executive Director of Nevada Right to Life respond to Sisolak’s lawless executive abortion order:

“Governor Sisolak‘s Executive Order 2022-08 on abortion is nothing more than political theater at the expense of women.

Governor Sisolak is stoking fear and gas-lighting women to distract from a failed term as governor.

There is no change to Nevada law after the Supreme Court’s decision in Dobbs v Jackson. Governor Sisolak knows it, yet he can’t let a good “crisis” go to waste. He is hoping that Nevadans do not notice that he is advocating for abortion for all nine months of pregnancy for any reason or no reason. He did not address whether he is encouraging minor girls to come unaccompanied by a parent for a secret abortion. He is acting as chief marketing officer for Planned Parenthood and the Abortion Lobby by helping them import victims for the abortion industry at huge profit in what he hopes to make Nevada, an abortion tourism destination.

Nevadans wish Governor Sisolak would spend his energy, passion, and the resources of our state on the serious issues Nevadans face, like a shortage of baby formula, high gas prices, a housing crisis, and an educational system that is 50th in the nation. Governor Sisolak is trying make the womb the most dangerous place in Nevada.

All of this while exploiting women in their most vulnerable and tragic time. Nevada deserves more. Women deserve more.
