According to the Nevada secretary of state, Elon Musk filed articles of incorporation for a new company by the name of A.XI Corp. as Musk continues to be in the news following his purchase of Twitter. According to business filings, the new company will focus on artificial intelligence. A new tech race is breaking out between companies and countries to dominate artificial intelligence.

Musk is set to appear tonight on Tucker Carlson to warn about the dangers of AI in the wrong hands. Musk pledges that his AI will have an open source.

Musk told Carlson

“AI is more dangerous than, say, mismanaged aircraft design or production maintenance or bad car production,” Musk told Carlson. “In the sense that it has the potential, however small one may regard that probability, but it is non-trivial, it has the potential of civilization destruction.”

China is pushing forward with their own AI platform, which can only be bad for the freedom of the human race if they win.

The Financial Times is reporting Musk is hiring engineers and talking with investors of Tesla and Space X about launching an AI startup that would rival Open AI. AI Corp. has authorized the sale of 100 million shares, so an IPO could be in the future.

Musk named close confidant Jared Birchall as the director of the new company.

Musk has had a great run in Nevada. He launched his highly successful Tesla battery Gigafactory in Sparks, Nevada, back in 2016, and he just signed a deal with Governor Lombardo to invest another $3.6 billion in a new factory for his Tesla trucks.
