LOMBARDO “HELL NO” TO NON-CITIZEN POLICE OFFICERS

The city of North Las Vegas has introduced legislation in the up-coming Nevada legislative session to change the law so they can hire non-citizens, including DACA’s to police their community. Thankfully, our new Republican governor said hell no.

Gov. Lombardo said

“It’s very hard to understand how you could enforce violations of the Constitution and take away people’s freedom when, in turn, you are not a citizen enforcing those particular laws,” 

The police we spoke with said they are deeply worried about Cartels penetrating police departments under such rule changes. And this poses a national security threat by allowing Communist Chinese to slip into our police departments.

PSAN Representative John Abel told 360 News that the Police Union also opposes the legislation.

Lombardo made it clear when he ran for office that law and order were his top priorities. And he pledged to reverse Dems soft on crime laws that have brought about a crime wave in Nevada, especially in Las Vegas.
