Facebook CEO Mark Zukerberg was grilled yesterday by Republicans before a U.S. Senate committee over children exploited, bullied, or driven to self-harm by content allowed to remain on Facebook. Facebook allows pages that celebrate mass murders by Stalin and even Hitler.

But less than a year out from the 2024 general elections, without any warning, Facebook took down a Nevada Group page that supports Trump. Just a few weeks ago, Facebook took down the “Trump Army of Nevada” page, claiming it violated their policies because it used the “Trump” name without his consent. Keep in mind that the page only used his last name. But all one has to do is search for Trump, and there are hundreds of anti-Trump Facebook pages alive and well. For example, Facebook allows a page called “Trump is the Next Hitler” to remain operational. BTW, the “Trump Army of Nevada” page has been up since 2018. It had a following of over 15,000 people.

Some how Facebook can’t protect girls from online human trafficking, but they can shut down every Republican-leaning group and shadow ban conservative-leaning news outlets. I get daily scammers messaging me on Facebook that they can’t control.

360 News had over 1.9 million views on our Facebook page the month before the 2020 election. Now we are lucky to get 10 or 20 likes on a post. That’s why we’ve focused our efforts on disseminating our content through emails.

When President Trump is re-elected, he needs to hold monopolistic social media companies accountable and ban political content discrimination. We saw the huge damage done four years ago when Facebook and Twitter blocked the New York Post article about Hunter Biden’s laptop.
