DEMS & CCSD FAILING MINORITY KIDS- 49% DROPOUT RATE

Nevada Dems not only blocked Gov. Lombard’s school choice bills, they cut off all existing funding for school choice (ESA’s) throwing kids currently in private schools out on the streets. This happened on the heels of a new report showing only 51% of students in North Las Vegas graduated from CCSD High schools. North Las Vegas has a high concentration of minority kids, both Hispanic and black.

The report is required by state law. BTW, Dems tried to get rid of the reporting requirement. According to the latest reporting, only 51.5% of students at CCSD High schools in North Las Vegas graduated. The same report shows 92.1 percent in Henderson graduated.

Superintendent Jesus Jara said “student outcomes in CCSD were improving; ‘you just can’t see it”. CCSD Trustee Katie Williams has been one of his biggest supporters on the Clark County School Board. Fake Republican Katie Williams is considering running for State Senate next year. Under Katie Williams and Jara’s leadership, CCSD has sunk to dead last in the nation.

Sky high School violence, gangs, drugs, trans ideology, and progressive socialist teachings (Thanks, Katie.) Thank God I don’t have school-age kids anymore. If I did, there is no way in hell I would send them to CCSD. I would work three jobs and eat romanoddle every day so I could afford to send them to a private school. I’m not smart enough to home-school.
