SHERIFF LOMBARDO TAKES 2 GOV. SALARIES, $324,000 A YEAR

Even after the murder rate doubled, violent crime spiked and the Feds declared Las Vegas the worst sanctuary city offender in the US, Sheriff Joseph Lombardo is still pulling down over $324,000 a year. Government work certainly pays well.

After Sheriff Lombardo was elected in 2014, he officially retired from Metro after some 25 years on the force. And as such Lombardo started receiving his lifetime pension of $163,642 a year. But as the new Sheriff, he gets paid $161,000 per year. So even tho Lombardo is officially retired from Metro, he now gets his pension and salary as Sheriff, totalling some $324,000 per year, according to transparentnevada.com.
