NEWSMAXTV LAS VEGAS CRACKS OPEN THE VA MEDICAL CARE SYSTEM FOLLOWING A REAL VETERAN THROUGH THE PROCESS 

As many of you know, NEWSMAXTV LAS VEGAS political contributor Rob Lauer had a heart attack 3 weeks ago. As a Veteran, Lauer gets his healthcare services from the VA. So NEWSMAXTV LAS VEGAS is following Lauer though his treatment and recovery with the VA to open the process up to the public. Lauer’s Private and VA Cardiologists both prescribed a new drug for his heart stents. Without the drug, his new stents could get clogged up and he could die. But the VA pharmacy refused to provide him with the drug, saying it was too expensive. So Lauer’s Congressman Rep. Hardy’s VA rep made some calls and got the VA to provide the life saving drug. Yesterday, Lauer received a call from the VA’s cardio rehab clinic who informed him their first evaluation appointment opening wasn’t until October 28, 2016 because they only have 1 person working in that department. That’s right, 1 person to serve 300,000 Veterans in Clark County.

But the VA recently paid out millions to build shade parking structures at the Las Vegas VA Hospital. See the before and after pictures of the new parking shade structures. According to news sources, the VA spent over $30 million last year on interior decorators.

In a recent poll, over 75% of VFW members expressed support for Veterans having the right to go outside the VA system to the doctors and hospitals of their choice.

SENATOR HARRY REID’S NEPHEW SHOT TO DEATH IN HENDERSON BY ROOMMATE

In local news, Senator Harry Reid’s nephew, 22 year old Lamar Reid Jr, was shot to death in his Henderson home by his roommate, 28 year old Michael Lanunziata, on August 28, 2016. Henderson Police dropped the charges claiming a lack of evidence.

Lanunziata claimed when he return to the house to collect his belongings and move out, Reid confronted him with a screwdriver and then with a large Bowie knife after Lanunziata drew his firearm, the police report said.

CONGRESSIONAL CANDIDATE DANNY TARKANIAN LAUNCHES POSTIVE TV SPOT IN FINAL PUSH IN CD3 RACE

In local politics, CD3 Republican Nominee Congressional Candidate Danny Tarkanian launched a new TV spot this week highlighting his work in the community and that of his family. Tarkanian is leading Democrat Jackie Rosen by 12 points in the latest polls. According to inside sources, Tarkanian has purchased over $160,000 worth of airtime spots for the new commercial.
