METRO OFFICERS ON ALERT FOLLOWING DALLAS POLICE KILLED AT BLACK LIVES MATTER RALLY

Las Vegas Metro officers are on alert tonight, riding in pairs, following the murder of 4 Dallas police officers by 2 snipers at a Black Lives matters rally. 11 Police officers were also shot and injured. The protests in Dallas were part of a national protest movement in response to police shooting of two unarmed black men this week.

“Protest, that’s your constitutional right but committing violence is not,” said Metro Sgt. Jeff Clark.
