HIGH SPEED RAIL IN NEVADA JUST GOT REAL AFTER TRUMP MEETS WITH JAPANESE PRIME MINISTER

February 11, 2017

Prime Minister Shinzo Abe just announced at the White House yesterday, with President Trump, that his country is prepared to invest over $450 Billion dollars in the US over the next ten years in high tech infrastructure such as high speed rail. The investment is projected to produce over 700,000 jobs in the US according to sources.

Recently, Assemblyman Jim Marchant submitted a bill in the Nevada State Legislature to fund a bill to study the viability, route, environmental impact and engineering for a high speed rail project from Las Vegas to Reno opening up the interior to development and eco tourism. With a projected $10 Billion Dollar price tab, Japan’s recent announcement may fit within the investment parameters set forth by the Prime Minister yesterday at the White House with President Trump.

According to Reuters, Investing in overseas infrastructure projects dovetails with a key plank in Abe’s growth strategy, which is to export “high-quality” infrastructure technology.

Japan has been stuck in a low growth death spiral for 2 decades and is eager to break out by leveraging its high technology overseas.

The Japanese Prime Minister’s announcement makes the Silver Bullet Nevada project viable and a reality lawmakers are now exploring.
