THE DAILY GRIND – AUGUST 10TH, 2016

August 10th, 2016

The NRA opened their new campaign office in Las Vegas to fight New York Mayor Michael Bloombergs Question 1 ballot initiative this November, and Newsmax TV Las Vegas was there. Congressional Candidate Danny Tarkanian was also there joining the fight against the Bloomberg bill.

Robert Uithoven, owns J 3 strategies, a primary campaign consulting firm here in Nevada who represented Ted Cruz. He has been hired by the NRA to lead the effort to defeat Question 1.

According to Uithoven, Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo is under fire for taking a neutral position on the Bloomberg background check bill. The rest of the sheriffs in the state came out firmly AGAINST the proposed bill, and are worried about Clark County dragging down the rest of the state on this issue.

We are proud to announce the NRA will be joining NEWSMAXTV LAS VEGAS in hosting a town hall to discuss Question one with community leaders. It will be held this weekend from 10am to 11am inside the Cashman Center at the Crossroads of the West Show. Get your tickets before they are all gone, there is limited seating available.

In other news, Senator Harry Reid’s hand picked replacement, Catherine Cortez Masto, attacked her US Senate Seat opponent, Joe Heck, trying to tie him to Trumps recent comments by saying “Enough. Donald Trump has attacked veterans, immigrants, Muslims, the disabled, women, workers, and is now inciting violence against a candidate for president” Cortez Masto also said in a statement, “How many outrageous things must Donald Trump say before Republicans like Congressman Heck retract their support for him? Nevadans need leaders who will stand up to Donald Trump, not a politician like Congressman Heck who has high hopes for a Trump presidency.
