SHERIFF LOMBARDO EXTENDS CCW’S 90 DAYS & LAUNCHES ONLINE SERVICE

Las Vegas Metro Police Sheriff Joe Lombardo announced he is extending existing CCW permits by 90 days and now offering online filings for new CCW applicants.

“The LVMPD Records and Fingerprint Bureau is one of a series of LVMPD facilities closed to the public. The closures are a preventative measure to limit potential spread of the COVID-19 virus. The closure has made it difficult for individuals with expiring CCW permits to begin the renewal process.

For this reason,Sheriff Joe Lombardo has approved a 120-day temporary extension for CCW permits that expired on or after March 17, 2020. The temporary extension is valid until Wednesday, July 15, 2020. “
