ODD TIMING, GOV. SANDOVAL ENDORSES GOV. JOHN KASICH

April 16, 2016

Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval endorsed Ohio Governor John Kasich today for President, almost two months after the Nevada Caucus was held on February 20, 2016, leaving many wondering why now?  What makes his timing even more odd is just last weekend Governor Sandoval was overtly absent at the Clark County Republican Convention, the state’s largest county, where Donald Trump’s delegates took all the leadership posts swamping Cruz supporters. Gov. Kasich received 1 delegate in Nevada.

Sandoval said: “Now, more than ever, America needs his leadership in the Oval Office. John Kasich is the only candidate in the race with a real plan to deliver results, and he is the only Republican who can defeat Hillary Clinton in the fall. I look forward to helping his team spread this message to voters in the months ahead.”

Kasich is currently in third place behind Donald Trump and Ted Cruz and has zero statistical chance of winning the primary on the first ballot at this point, which makes Gov. Sandoval’s timing even more bizarre.

The Governors have a lot in common tho. They both supported Obamacare and opened up their state’s medicaid system. They both support open borders and driver’s licenses for illegal aliens, they both support common core education and they both raised taxes in their respective states.

We will have to wait and see if Governor Sandoval’s endorsement makes any difference in New York’s Presidential primary this Tuesday.
