Last week on July 19, 2020, 360 reported Governor Sisolak intended on calling a 2nd Special Session to defund cops and to force a vote on mail in ballots. But right after our story, all the local Nevada Press reported the opposite:

The AP News: “Gov. Steve Sisolak: No second special session for now”

The Las Vegas Review Journal reported “No immediate second special session, Sisolak says”

8 News Now: “Gov. Sisolak: No immediate second special session planned

KTNV 13 “Sisolak to wait prior to calling second special session”

July 19, 2020 Gov. Sisolak even issued an official statement “My goal is still to issue a proclamation for a second special session, but I will only do so when I am confident the Legislature, in coordination with my office, has fully reviewed all policy items and is ready to conduct a thorough, organized and efficient second special session. This is the responsible decision to make in order to protect the time needed to address the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.

But today, Sisolak just signed an order announcing a 2nd Special Session to defund cops and force a vote on mail in ballots.
