711 Clerk AKA Nevada Secretary of State Barbara Cegasvke is refusing to credit businesses a portion of their business license fees for the time period they were ordered shut down by the governor. The Nevada State business license, which is now up to $500 per year, entitles companies to conduct business in the State of Nevada for an entire year. But when the Governor ordered all non-essential business to shut down (mostly small businesses) they were denied the chance to operate for 3 or 4 months at least. And many are still only allowed to operate at only 50%.

Shouldn’t businesses get a credit for the time the Governor ordered them to shut down and a partial credit for the time they operated at 50% capacity?

Greed isn’t limited to businesses. According to Transparent, Nevada Barbara Cegasvke collected all of her $142,446.76 annual pay and benefits.
