DID SEN. SEGERBLOM LIE ABOUT PRIVATE FUNDING CHANGE TO BILL TO NAME LAS VEGAS AIRPORT AFTER HARRY REID?

DID SEN. SEGERBLOM LIE ABOUT PRIVATE FUNDING CHANGE TO BILL TO NAME LAS VEGAS AIRPORT AFTER HARRY REID?

May 13, 2017

According to Nevada State Senator Tick Segerblom, the author of SB 174, the bill to change the name of McCarran International Airport to Harry Reid International Airport, he was pulling the fiscal note requiring Clark County taxpayers to fund the $2.1 Million estimated cost and supporting only private donations as a means to make the change. In fact, several local media outlets reported Sen. Segerblom was removing the fiscal note on March 15, 2017 about 4 hours after 360Daily.net reported the huge cost to taxpayers according to airport officials.

But as of today, no amendments have been introduced by Sen. Segerblom, let alone passed removing the fiscal note requiring Clark County taxpayers to fund the $2.1 Million estimated cost.

As of now, SB 174 is alive and ready to pass the Nevada State legislature requiring Clark County taxpayers holding the bag to change the name of McCarran International Airport to Harry Reid International Airport.

March 17, 2017, after 30 years in the U.S. Senate, less than 2 actual citizens show up and spoke in support of Harry Reid. In addition, a few elected Democrats and union leaders spoke out in support of changing McCarran Las Vegas Airport to Harry Reid Las Vegas Airport. Not one Republican spoke out in support of the bill. About a dozen citizens did come out to oppose Senate Bill SB 174.

So beside paid staffers, Democratic politicians Harry Reid funded, an illegal alien and two Government employee union members, only 2 actual people spoke out in support of Senator Harry Reid. A UNLV college professor Greene called Pat McCarran anti-Semitic and his reasons why, all hearsay from third parties who are dead.

So we don’t want to accuse Sen. Tick Segerblom or Harry Reid of lying. Perhaps removing the fiscal note slipped their minds. Maybe Segerblom will answer your calls.

When 360Daily.net called his office seeking a statement from the Senator, he refused to respond.
