ALL OREGON’S REPUBLICAN SENATORS HIDING-OUT, ON THE RUN & DODGING COPS?

Unlike Nevada Republicans who mostly sold out in the Nevada legislature this year on (with a few exceptions) abortion, taxes and illegal aliens, Oregon Republicans are a shining example of creative thinking and courage.  Last week when the Democrats tried to pass a crazy Climate Change law that would ban gas cars within a few years, Oregon Republican Senators left town and are now hiding out across the country.

Without the Republican lawmakers, the Oregon legislature lacks a quorum. So under their State Constitution the law cannot get a vote until there is a quorum. Now the Dem Oregon Governor, Kate Brown, is threatening to send the State Capital police after them. All 11 Republican State Senators have fled the state to prevent a vote on cap and trade (climate change).

According to news reports,Tim Knopp, a Republican state senator said “I do not believe the state police will be able to find any of our members,” , they are reportedly scattered across several states.

A militia group called Oregon III% “vowed to provide security, transportation and refuge for those Senators in need” in a Facebook post. “We will stand together with unwavering resolve, doing whatever it takes to keep these Senators safe.”
